Associate Prof. Ar. Haris Fadzilah Abdul Rahman is a registered architect, graduated from Hull School of Architecture, United Kingdom. Upon graduation he works with Portakabin Ltd and Yorkon Ltd (under Shepherd Building Group), York, England.
He obtained his Master degree in Conservation from USM; he is also actively involved in research. His specialisation is salt desalination in heritage buildings. His interests are building conservation, eco-tourism, sustainable design and modular construction.
His first involvement in conservation was the renovation of The Brink Building (Hyatt Hotel) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 1992. Following that he was involved in series of conservation activities in Penang, such as the Old City Hall, Old Penang High Court, Syed Al-Atas Mansion, GTWHI Building, Bukit Mertajam High School and various Muslim/Malay enclave buildings.
Professor Dr. Salfarina Abdul Gapor is an Urban Planner and a Registered Social Impact Assessment (SIA) Consultant.
She obtained her PhD in Sustainable Development from Hull, United Kingdom and also actively involved in research.
